One of my least favorite things in this world is the late winter cold that always seems to catch up to me.

I woke up last Sunday morning with the sore throat and throughout the day it slowly crept into my body…

By Monday morning it was a full blown head and chest cold.I know it sounds like a baby whining, but when you make your living yakking into a microphone it is worst than having a broken leg.

The only part of having a cold I enjoy are the remedies people are always willing to offer up to you.Some friends have given me the chicken noodle soup with lot’s of rest theory while other more modernistic friends swear by the “Zicam” and new miracle drug methods.

I’ll be honest, I have tried both and after almost a week I still have this cold hanging on for dear life! After blowing my nose and eating cough drops by the bag for almost a week…I am kind of getting used to it.

So thanks for listening while I attempt to get my voice back to normal strength and volume……with all of these remedies in my system it should be any day now!!
